Type of data breach: around 3 million personal data seized

The Italian bank UniCredit is the victim of a hacker attack. Around three million names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers were stolen. An internal investigation revealed that only Italian customer data was involved. The bank has already invested 2.4 billion euros in IT security since 2016. However, the captured data set was from 2015.
